Thank you to everyone who stopped by the 2012 heggs house of horror display and made this halloween a huge success!
After over a decade and a half since its inception, the Heggs House of Horror will come to life once again on October 30th and 31st for the celebration of All Hallows Eve. Over the years, the Heggs House of Horror has become a staple in the Old Brooklyn community, as people come from near and away to be entertained by the spooky sights that come alive on Merl Avenue. There will be even more spooktacular displays this Halloween as new additions are being designed and created to entertain you! Bring your friends, families and neighbors to this spectacular local event.
As a special treat, Emmy award winning film makers Bob Becker and Luanne Bole-Becker were on site filming excited visitors and capturing the Halloween magic that comes from the Heggs House of Horror during 2011. The documentary they are creating will explore the evolution of all that has gone into making the Heggs House of Horror a reality, including family and visitor interviews, behind-the-scenes views, and never-before-seen footage from displays over the years. This documentary is currently in production, hopefully to be released in 2013. The Heggs House of Horror has also reached local celebrity status, as the display appeared on several local TV stations during their live news broadcasts. We can only guess who will visit us in 2012 to help keep this local tradition alive.
Stop by the Heggs House of Horror this year and become part of our favorite halloween tradition!
